Do you use the new custom apps feature?

I am curious for those of you that use the toolkit on a regular basis.  Who out there is using the new “Customize” tab with your own apps added to the toolkit?

I don’t collect metrics or data from usage of the All in One – System Rescue Toolkit, and I don’t want to have automated “phone home” collection of data.  So, I will just ask the old fashioned way.

  1. Do you use custom apps or settings on the USB version of the toolkit?
  2. What are your favorite apps or buttons that you use on the toolkit?
  3. What are your favorite apps on the LiveCD portion of the toolkit?
  4. What are some tech tasks where you feel the toolkit falls short?

Let us know in the post comments.

Thanks!

  1. most people who purchase this disc are just average joes trying to fix something like a blue screen(can it?), but after getting to the icon screen ,what can I push, to go on? how do you make it work?

  2. Nice Tool मैं अपने पेंड्रिव को कॉपी और पेस्ट से सुरक्षित रखना चाहता हूं क्या मैं इसे कर सकता हूं?

    1. I would recommend to always guard your repair toolkit USB from malicious writes. My toolkit will automatically scan its files when it starts up in Windows Autorun mode to check for tampering or corruption.

You can also manually check for tampering or corruption from the Live Boot menu called “Check disc for defects”

Cordialement

    1. Hello and thank you for the feedback! I try to make sure this toolkit is as complete as possible without too much bloat.

Regarding your USB boot, the official supported method for creating a USB bootable flash drive is to open the ISO or CD Windows Autorun and use the “Create AiO-SRT USB” under the General Tab.

  4. 1.) No
    2.) Only use as LiveCD
3.) Gparted, Clonezilla, LXDE to mount NTFS volumes, Nwipe, chntpw (prefer All in One so do not need to download LiveCD of each individually)
    4.) Does not use Firefox.

  5. Do you use custom apps or settings on the USB version of the toolkit?
Yes, I do, and loving it!
What are your favorite apps or buttons that you use on the toolkit?
Can’t say. I am loving them all.
What are your favorite apps on the LiveCD portion of the toolkit?
The NT PW Reset is a front runner for me.
What are some tech tasks where you feel the toolkit falls short?
None I can see just yet.
