A client of mine received a random phone call that was recorded into this voice mail, he called the phone number, and then the “Support Agent” connected to his computer. It turned out to be a scam, he gave me permission to record his voicemail and share it with people.
My client quickly realized that something was fishy, hung up on the “Microsoft Support Agent”, and decided to give us a call. Please tell your friends and family members that MICROSOFT DOES NOT CALL YOU OR GIVE YOU WARNINGS OR POPUPS like this. If it sounds scary, talk to your local technician or smart friend before calling phone numbers for “Microsoft Support”.
